The Basic Street-Vac System consists of the saw mounted Vacuum Head together with 100 feet of 2 inch Vacuum Hose. The truck mounted modules are: the Hose Reel, a skid mounted, engine driven Vacuum Pump and either a 110 Gallon Slurry Tank or a 55 gallon drum adapter. Installation consists of mounting the truck modules where ever space is available and bolting an axle extension and a guide to the saw using the saw’s existing bolt holes. Vacuum Heads come in 4 standard sizes. 20”, 26”, 30” and 36” Heads are equipped with tailpieces for either Meco Model 30” series saws or Meco Model 36” series saws. The tailpieces may be changed to accommodate the head to the saw model. As an alternate to the truck mounted vacuum system, the head may be used with a local blower type vacuum system coupled with a short hose. Heads for other model saws are being designed and will be available based on demand |
